Katherine Kaestner is a self taught photographer and communications professional currently based in Nablus, Palestine.
She draws from her wealth of life experience having spent 17 years overseas. She began her exploration into art photography when she moved to New Delhi from Cairo, Egypt and inherited an old Panasonic Lumix. Her primary subjects are the people around her immediate and intimate surroundings. She has lived in 8 different countries and has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
She has been shown at the Traces of Us Gallery in Easton Maryland and currently is scheduled for an April show at the Present Global Art Gallery in West Palm Beach, Florida.
